  19. There's always Jean de Florette and the sequel, Manon de la Source
  20. (Manon of the Spring).

  22. Over the summer, we rented Jesus de Montreal because someone had heard
  23. it was good.  I thought it was well done, but nothing really happens
  24. (although that one scene had us rolling on the floor, the one where they
  25. show various styles of performing the same story).  So, if you don't
  26. like that kind of movie, you probably should stay away from it.

  28. I also highly recommend La Grande Illusion, which was assigned for a
  29. French class I took.  Dunno if it's widely available at rental places
  30. though.
