-
- There's always Jean de Florette and the sequel, Manon de la Source
- (Manon of the Spring).
-
- Over the summer, we rented Jesus de Montreal because someone had heard
- it was good. I thought it was well done, but nothing really happens
- (although that one scene had us rolling on the floor, the one where they
- show various styles of performing the same story). So, if you don't
- like that kind of movie, you probably should stay away from it.
-
- I also highly recommend La Grande Illusion, which was assigned for a
- French class I took. Dunno if it's widely available at rental places
- though.
