- Not meaning to speak for Richard, but I think his point was: How could
- the U.S. Government lawyer (Kevin Bacon) argue that the two marines had
- poisoned the rag, resulting in (what'shisface's) death? I didn't even think
- of this during the film, but it would have made a good defense to argue the
- implausibility of the marines having knowledge of poisons. Of course,
- that turned out not to be necessary anyways.. :)
