  25. True, but what did they do for that disciplinary action?  Just to avoid a
  26. big spoiler I won't say, but it would have been completely avoided if they
  27. could have contacted the planes.  Wasn't security attempting to reach an
  28. unused transmitter when they were ambushed and then the transmitter
  29. blown up?
  30. OTOH I suppose they would have alternatively rounded up a roomful of
  31. travelers and held them hostage like in DH 1 and maybe shot some for an
  32. example.

  39. I was wondering for awhile if they just rewrote the first movie's script
  40. to take place in an airport.  I can't think of many of the
  41. implausabilities right now other than what has been in this thread.
  42. One of them was the poor security (on the plane) guarding the dictator 
  43. they were extraditing.  Couldn't anyone have phoned or used a police
  44. radio to contact anybody in the city, phoned an air base enroute from
  45. South (or was it Central) America and ordered that military plane to land?
  46. Another was how Willis reached the landed planes within seconds of when 
  47. they flew about 100 feet over his head, landing probably 1/2 mile or
  48. more down the runway.
