- I don't care if someone doesn't get quite the right accent, as
- long as it sounds reasonable. It didn't bother me that Robert
- Shaw's Yankee accent in Jaws wasn't quite right: it sounded good.
- However, accents can be a problem if the DON'T sound right. Costner's
- horrible accent in Robin Hood is a case in point. It just sounded
- dumb, and distracted the viewer of the film.
