  38. I don't care if someone doesn't get quite the right accent, as
  39. long as it sounds reasonable.  It didn't bother me that Robert
  40. Shaw's Yankee accent in Jaws wasn't quite right: it sounded good.
  41. However, accents can be a problem if the DON'T sound right. Costner's
  42. horrible accent in Robin Hood is a case in point. It just sounded
  43. dumb, and distracted the viewer of the film.
