- I'd agree with that; unlike many child actors, Schroeder made a seamless
- transition into being a good adult actor (he held his own with some
- heavyweights in Lonesome Dove). If only he can get better roles in his
- movies....
-
- Others:
-
- Jodie Foster. She's so well established as a fine adult actor now,
- folks may forget how remarkable she was in Alice Doesn't Live Here
- Anymore, Taxi Driver, and others.
-
- Tatum O'Neal in Paper Moon and The Bad News Bears.
-
- Dana Hill in Shoot the Moon.
-
- Timothy Hutton. Maybe this is borderline, as he was an adolescent in
- it, but he sure was fine in Ordinary People.
-
- Shirley Temple. I know people cringe at the mention of her name, but
- you can get over that and look at any of her movies, an amazing talent
- is evident.
-
- Justin Henry in Kramer vs. Kramer.
-
- Henry Thomas and Drew Barrymore in ET.
