  12. A copy of the Gun Smith Cats Volume 2 compilation finally made its way
  13. to this part of the continent.  While looking at it, I was surprised to
  14. see that one chapter had disappeared.  For trivia lovers, here's the
  15. details.

  17. If one looks at the length of Chapter 12: Sight In in the volume, and
  18. compares its length to that of the other chapters in the compilation,
  19. one will notice that Chapter 12 is at least twice as long as any of the
  20. other chapters.  This is due to Chapter 12 actually being made up of 
  21. two chapters - the second chapter, originally Chapter 13: Hard Chase
  22. when published in Afternoon, begins on page 100 of the compilation,
  23. about midway through Chapter 12.  The splash page that used to begin
  24. the former Chapter 13 has instead been used as the first page of the
  25. Volume 2 compilation.  Casual readers will not notice anything amiss,
  26. as the two stories segue together seamlessly.
