- Sadly, another station has dropped the showing of "Doctor Who:"
- Vermont public television. Last Saturday night during the closing credits
- of "Survival" an announcer came on and said, "Due to tightening bugetatary
- constraints and decling viewership, Doctor Who will no longer be seen on Vermont
- ETV (educational television.)"
- It's sad. Over the last 5 years or so, they've been very good in
- running the show, showing from Tom Baker to McCoy twice, (plus being the first
- in this area to have McCoy's last season, and not running it with
- interupptions) and they ran "Tomb of the Cybermen" weeks before most US
- stations, and again WITHOUT pledge breaks. I'll post their address in a
- few days for anyone interested in writing a letter to them on behalf of the
- good Doctor. Is there ANY news of a new series?
