- I recently read a book which systematically debunked hundreds of urban myths
- with quite thoroughly researched info... besides giving out the formulas for
- both Coke and Kentucky Fried Chicken, it also researched the gravesite of Walt
- Disney. The author went to Forest Lawn and was told that he should go away,
- but he snuck around to one of the back plots where the Disney Family has a
- crypt. On the building there are plaques for all who are buried there and in
- the back of the building Walt's name exists on a small plaque kinda hidden. A
- friend of mine has seen it with his own eyes as well, although no actual
- remains were witnessed. The reason for the secrecy is due to the Disney family
- not wanting Walt's gravesite to become a tourist mecca like Elvis' grave...

- Part 2:
- I just returned from a Christmas trip to Disneyland (My third time this year)
- and here are the highlights..... I was told that Toontown might be opened early
- for a preview but it was locked up tight except for a private charity party
- they were giving for some kids from Ellay... I saw and videotaped it from the
- train however and a cohort of mine got yelled at for "standing while the ride
- was in motion", This same disnyite told us that "Flash pictures shouldn't be
- taken while going through the Grand Canyon and the Dinasaur Replica People" (I
- got it on tape folks, I swear it's true!), He then went on to thank us for
- "Corresponding with his no flash pictures rule"... First night on the job I
- guess!
- We spent 2 days in the park and I videotaped way too much. The first night I
- decided NOT to videotape Fantasmic and just enjoy the show, saving the taping
- for the second night when I would have front row seats in the Gallery Balcony
- (eat your hearts out)... BIG MISTAKE. The first nights show was great (sat
- front row and had to wipe my glasses every time the screens powered up) but the
- show I taped was majorly flawed! The Dragon musta been drunk in his trailer
- cuz Maleficant had to fill in...he was a NO-SHOW!!! Now I have to wait in line
- for 2 more hours to get balcony seats again, then wait at the bottom of the
- stairs to get in for half an hour, then tape the whole damn thing to get it
- right UGH!... Other than that the trip was pretty memorable... weather was
- great. D-land during Christmas is beautiful but the crowds keep gettin bigger
- every year.
