- That's because you rode Slash Mountain at Disneyland, not WDW. The
- rides are different, particularly the scenes you see when you're riding
- through the mountain. The scene described above can only be seen at
- WDW (and maybe Tokyo Disneyland, but I haven't been there). Having
- ridden both versions of Splash Mountain, I'd say the one at WDW is far
- superior. The thing I like the most about that one is that the
- characters deliver their lines as your log is passing by as opposed to
- just repeating their lines on an endless loop. They also tend to turn
- and look at you while they're talking just as a live actor in a play
- would do to add emphasis to the lines. Makes it seem all that much
- more real and personal. There are also three complete sets of dialogue
- for the show. So you're likely to hear a different set of lines when
- you re-ride.
