  11. For those interested who will be in the New York area between now and Jan. 3,
  12. this is reprinted from the 12/22/92 Wall St. Journal, "A" section:

  17. "Disney in Wonderland: The Silent Cartoons of Walt Disney"
  18.  
  19. Studio prints of some 50 rare cartoons made by Walt Disney and his studio
  20. before fame and fortune came with the creation of Mickey Mouse in the
  21. late 1920s.  The cartoons are grouped into intriguing categories, including:
  22. "Battles and Wars," "Scary Tales and Adventures" and "Teacher and Truant,"
  23. the latter including Disney's "Puss and Boots" (1922) and something called
  24. "Alice Gets In Dutch" (1924).  A few early talkies will be screened as well.
