- [Wonderful series of jokes about religious comicx deleted; however, I've got
- to repeat one of them 'Buddha and the Mu Force' <ROFL>]
-
- Sounds like a joke some friends any I came up with a while back..... We were
- creating ads for a fictional "Religions of the World Action Playset" line of
- toys/action figures/etc etc.
-
- Some of our more twisted creations were superheroes such as The Humanist,
- Doctor Protestant, Captain Catholocism, and Buddhaman....
-
- They all fought their arch-enemies, the Screaming Hordes of Jesus Freaks (tm),
- with Spring-Action Bible-Thumping Arms! (They all looked like a cross between
- Oral Roberts' son and Jerry Fallwel.) Watch as Doctor Protestant must fight a
- menace he helped to create! (Lots of angst -there-, folks.)
-
- We never got to creating the vehicles or the HQ for the group, although we
- tossed around a few throwaway lines......
- "Quick, BrahmaLad! To the Vishnu-Mobile!"
-
- <sigh> Anyone wanna do the art for these?
