  22. I looked this up in a dictionary of saints. It's pretty much like Gilbert
  23. describes it. Joseph of Cupertino supposedly could levitate and fly. He
  24. was also fairly stupid. He only came to the monastery after failing at
  25. several other jobs. He was taken in by the monks to clean the stables 
  26. and tend to the horses. Somewhere along the line he demonstrated the
  27. ability to handle divinity studies and later displayed his aeronautic
  28. skills. It is said the rest of the brothers weren't happy about the
  29. attention that he received and so he was occasionally roughed up.
