  17. time planning what books to take on a trip than what clothes?

  19. Clothes are easy--two pairs of pants, a couple of shirts, a couple
  20. of T-shirts.  But should I take the thick Dickens novel I've been
  21. wanting to get to?  Or maybe a couple of thinner books so I can
  22. carry the current one around easier?  The science book would be good,
  23. but it's a hardback.  Is bringing an science fiction book to a science
  24. fiction convention coals to Newcastle?  If so, is it less silly if I
  25. plan on getting it autographed?  And so on.
