  12. Just finished this novel (as serialized cookbook) over the
  13. holiday weekend. Sort of a telenovela (Hispanic soap opera) with
  14. echoes of Garcia-Marquez and Isabel Allende. Takes place in
  15. Coahuila (Northern Mexico) and the recipes are great. Diana
  16. Kennedy has a laudatory blurb on the the back. It's by Laura
  17. Esquivel, a Mexican screen writer...
