  12. This may be somewhat tangential, but in DeMille's debunking
  13. of Carlos Caste#eda, there are several anecdotes which tell
  14. of "indios viejos" (old native american males) who allow young
  15. and earnest norteamericanos to believe that they are the "real
  16. Don Juan". Thus the duped NewAgers proceed to bring them such
  17. items as refrigerators, vcrs, beer, etc.
