- My goodness! Rabelaisan "wit" about "farting" seems to be much
- closer to "crap" than the entire Ngaio Marsh canon! And it's rather
- "dull" and "derivative" too.

- Readers of Ms Marsh enjoy mysteries. It is immaterial to them
- that she hails from New Zealand. An effort to pursuade readers
- to pursue Sargeson or Stewart would be far more successful if it
- were done by pointing out their delights, not by denigrating a
- major mystery writer.
