- I have just finished the last of George Macdonald Fraser's "Flashman" series,
- and I am in a funk because I don't have anything else to read. Does anyone have
- a recommendation?
-
- What I liked about the Flashman books: humor, history, slight cynicism.
-
- What I like in general: historical novels where I really learn some history
- (i.e. not just a potboiler set in the past); humor; believable characters;
- things off the beaten path.
-
- I don't usually read this group, so I would be very obliged if you would e-mail
- me. I can post a summary if anyone is interested.
-
- Thanks!!!
