- My first experience with a tattoo was hellish. The guy doing it was an
- expert, and he did everything he could to make me comfortable, but I was in
- considerable pain for 3 hours straight. I guess it's just me, because most
- people say it doesn't hurt that much, but mine did. I got it on my shoulder
- blade, which could be the reason, but it's the only one I have so I can't
- compare sensations from different parts of my body. Would I do it again?
- Definately. Right now I'm saving up for my next tat. If it's something that
- you really want to do, don't let the fear of pain stop you. Yeah, it wasn't
- a real enjoyable sensation for me, but the importance of the tat outweighs
- any temporary discomfort. Your going to have it for the rest of your life, so
- if it's not important enough to you to deal with the pain, then it's not
- important enough to you to have done.
