- Piercing Makes Utne Reader!!!
-
- This quarter's issue has a small blurb about piercing as
- the "new trend". No news for piercing afficianados, but
- a good read. The big question seems to be "what will those
- crazy kids think of next?" Check it out.
-
- Also, re: keloids. The ifo I've heard, tho' not specific
- to piercings is -- the darker your skin type, the more
- your chance of keloids. People w/ "olive skin" are advised
- against face lifts/liposuction due to risk of severe
- scarring. Same goes for darker skin types. Being light
- skinned myself, I haven't come up against any personally w/
- my piercings, but my more olive skinned sister has had more
- [tho' not too severe] scarring w/ her navel pierce.
-
- Still searching for any info on clit piercing... anyone?
