- I too was kinda disturbed by the movie. It left me with an unsettled feeling.
- I mean, what happens to Hikaru in the end? It wasn't really clear whether she
- was going to stop going for Kyosuke. And it didn't really get into the
- Madoka/Kyosuke relationship enough for me. All they did together was talk
- about the Hikaru problem. I prefer the TV episode 47/48 ending much more. I
- mean, the whole series is so light-hearted (at least what I've seen of it) that
- having a psychotic Hikaru was kinda depressing. At least they didn't try to
- milk the public by continuing the series into their college years (although I
- wouldn't mind seeing more OVA style specials produced).
-
- Disclaimer: I'm not really knocking the movie. It was still better than 99%
- of the stuff I've seen, but I prefered the TV ending over the way the movie
- ended the series.
