  24.     I do that all the time with certain friends at school.  I call this
  25. guy I've known from High School by his last name all the time.  It's become
  26. totally natural.

  28.     At the end of the KOR movie, Kyosuke still calls Madoka by her
  29. last name (he says "Ayukawa and I passed our mock exams") which is strange
  30. since they dumped on Hikaru like that so they could be together.. 
  31. I sure thought they were a couple by the end of the movie, but he was
  32. still calling her "Ayukawa."
  33.     This leads me to suspect that it is not really due to cultural
  34. constraints, but due to 'habit'..  I'm not sure of course, but if I'm
  35. right, then Animeigo is wrong.
