- I do that all the time with certain friends at school. I call this
- guy I've known from High School by his last name all the time. It's become
- totally natural.

- At the end of the KOR movie, Kyosuke still calls Madoka by her
- last name (he says "Ayukawa and I passed our mock exams") which is strange
- since they dumped on Hikaru like that so they could be together..
- I sure thought they were a couple by the end of the movie, but he was
- still calling her "Ayukawa."
- This leads me to suspect that it is not really due to cultural
- constraints, but due to 'habit'.. I'm not sure of course, but if I'm
- right, then Animeigo is wrong.
