  13. Presenting: the 1992 REC.ARTS.ANIME FAVORITES POLL!  It's my hope that
  14. this poll will become an annual event.  It's a chance to see where a
  15. sizable section of anime fandom stands, opinion-wise.  I'm also hoping
  16. that this poll doesn't get buried in the large number of other polls
  17. I saw when I was catching up on 1000+ articles.  You're reading this,
  18. so there's hope.

  20. There are 16 categories, which is a lot, but don't worry, you don't
  21. have to vote in all of them.  At the end of the poll, I should know
  22. which categories are more interesting and perhaps I can delete some
  23. of the duller ones.

  25. Due to the nature of English-speaking anime fandom, all anime is
  26. eligible.  Otherwise, I'd have to decide on when an anime becomes
  27. eligible: when its released in Japan?  Makes it to the US?  Australia?
  28. UK?  I'd rather just leave it open and count on the fans' fickleness to
  29. restrict the voting to recent works.  :-) :-)

  32. votes: I'd appreciate it if you resent.  After you read this, you'll
  33. probably want to anyway.
