  16. I was flipping through an issue of MARVEL AGE the other day, scanning an
  17. article on life in the G.I. JOE comic. My memory is a little fuzzy (someone
  18. who actually owns the issue want to back me up on this?), but I do believe I
  19. read...

  21. 1. The JOE comic is not biting the dust.
  22. 2. There is an upcoming reprint of the G.I. JOE vs. TRANSFORMERS limited
  23.     series. Bleagh. No Andrew Wildman art, no Larry Hama or Simon Furman
  24.     writing. Probably avoid this (okay, the new covers will be by Wildman,
  25.     but that's it).
  26. 3. Marvel will do a new, "more contemporary", "grittier" version of the
  27.     TRANSFORMERS comic, as a limited series, tying in to unspecified
  28.     Transformer stuff from Hasbro. If it sells well, a new regular series
  29.     may be in the works. This part of my memory is VERY fuzzy, but you get the
  30.     general gist...

  32. No word about any sort of new animated series, but then we're talking about
  33. comic books here, not rec.arts.movies...
