  18. Some Aspidoras sp. (specifically lakoi) are available locally for a
  19. good price, but I haven't been able to find info about them in any of
  20. my books (Baensch's Atlas, The Innes book, ...).  Since it's my policy
  21. not to trust petshop personnel, if someone could supply just the
  22. following information I'd appreciate it, or simply tell me if they are
  23. similar to cory cats.

  25. 1) suitable water conditions (pH, hardness, temp)
  26. 2) what they eat
  27. 3) how big they get

  29. The reason I need to know is because I plan on using these catfish in
  30. conditioning tanks for tetras I'll try to spawn.  The temperature will
  31. be fairly high (26C), and the hardness will be very low (below 4DH),
  32. pH will probably be < 6 (but I don't know exactly where it will end
  33. up).  I want to make sure these catfish can take these extremes.  If
  34. not, I'm open to suggestions.
