  12. I have a pair of antique magnifying glasses I am trying to price.  They have
  13. about a 3 to 4 inch lens, and the handle appears to be ivory.  The handle
  14. is about a 4 or 5 inch stem, and then the handle turns into a head.  The
  15. head looks like someone from the Shakespearean era.  The handle is really
  16. ornate.  There are no markings such as date or manufacturer.  I believe the
  17. material is ivory.  On one piece, the nose is chipped.  It exposes some of the
  18. material underneath, which is a fairly bright white and a few sparkling regions
  19. (some sort of minerals?).  If anyone has seen or knows anything about such
