  11. I have received an old quill-type pen (like a fountain pen, but without
  12. the ink reservoir) as a Christmas gift, and I'd like to know if someone
  13. can date it for me.

  15. It was owned by someone three generations older than myself, if that's any
  16. help.

  18. The cardstock box it comes in reads: "The SENGBUSCH HANDI-PEN", and
  19. advertises that it has a "hardened tip, known as 'iridium tip'- gold plated".

  21. The directions inside say that this pen was "manufactured by Sengbusch Self-
  22. Closing Inkstand Company, Milwaukee 3, Wisconsin, U.S.A."
  23.  
  24. The body of the pen appears to be made of plastic or some kind of shiny,
  25. stiff rubber.
