- I have received an old quill-type pen (like a fountain pen, but without
- the ink reservoir) as a Christmas gift, and I'd like to know if someone
- can date it for me.
-
- It was owned by someone three generations older than myself, if that's any
- help.
-
- The cardstock box it comes in reads: "The SENGBUSCH HANDI-PEN", and
- advertises that it has a "hardened tip, known as 'iridium tip'- gold plated".
-
- The directions inside say that this pen was "manufactured by Sengbusch Self-
- Closing Inkstand Company, Milwaukee 3, Wisconsin, U.S.A."
-
- The body of the pen appears to be made of plastic or some kind of shiny,
- stiff rubber.
-
- If you have any further questions about the pen, please email me
- and ask; otherwise, best guess, anyone?
-
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
