  18. Yes, he tried to dig up some dirt on the ladies, told the 
  19. Washington Post about this.  The result was that the WP
  20. went back in re-investigated the ladies to see if his 
  21. accusations were true.  This happened several weeks before the
  22. election, and delayed the report until after the election.

  25. to keep quite until after the election because "they did not
  26. have enough information".
