- Yes, he tried to dig up some dirt on the ladies, told the
- Washington Post about this. The result was that the WP
- went back in re-investigated the ladies to see if his
- accusations were true. This happened several weeks before the
- election, and delayed the report until after the election.

- to keep quite until after the election because "they did not
- have enough information".
