  23. I can agree with your reasoning, but I do *not* think that
  24. sci.crypt.theory is a good name, since that name would exclude a lot
  25. of technical questions that aren't really about theory but about
  26. implementation.

  28. On the other hand, sci.crypt.research is not perfect either, but it
  29. has a precedent in sci.math.research, comp.compression.research and
  30. the proposed sci.physics.research.
