  28. This point illustrates another issue that needs emphasis.  Peter da
  29. Silva is not the only one who feels this way about the group vs. list
  30. tradeoff.  There may be a number of people out there who would monitor
  31. a newsgroup on a particular topic but would not subscribe to a mailing
  32. list.  So, the size of the mailing list may be smaller than the number 
  33. of people who would read a newly created newsgroup.  The vote is the 
  34. way to see.
