- I thought part of the idea was to make it quicker and easier to read.
- As for lowering the total volume, do you prefer to tell some people
- to stop posting because there's too much traffic, or to impose a posting
- quota? Soc.motss' volume has grown because its community has grown;
- attempting to reduce the volume will silence some or mute many, and I
- think either is a terrile idea.

- read, I applaud the effort and would be glad to assist. (I also applaud any
- renaming that would make us easier to find; that goal seems incompatible
- with those of the reduce-the-volume folks, as it will likely add readers
