- As the one who started this thread, I want to thank everyone who
- has come up with suggestions. I was especially happy to learn
- about the Clear Flour Bakery because it's just down the street.

- On the other hand, I'm sorry to disagree with so many who've
- recommended Kupels for bagels. Much too soft. I find that
- Eagerman's (a terribly-run store by the way) are a lot more
- like the real thing; so do my New York-bred son and daughter-
- in-law.
