  21. I am graduating with a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the
  22. University of Oklahoma, Norman, Oklahoma. I also have a Bachelor's Degree
  23. in Electrical Engineering.

  25. I want to pursue a career in the area of Systems and/or Application software
  26. design. My graduate level projects refelect my strong programming skills.
  27. The projects include a database management system using ORACLE, an image
  28. enhancement system in X windows environment using C, a multiprogramming
  29. operating system in C and some other projects. As a part of my thesis
  30. I have developed and implemented algorithms for domination problems in C++.

  32. Also, during the research work for my master's thesis I developed shell scripts
  33. in AIX for batch processing on remote machine, which involved the use of 
  34. TCP/IP commands such as rcp, rpc, rsh, ftp, rlogin, telnet, finger. I am
  35. also familiar with Kermit protocols. As a computer systems technician, I was
  36. responsible for software and hardware maintenance of the computer systems
  37. in UNIX and MS-DOS environment.

  39. My experience as a teaching assistant has sharpen my communication skills.
  40. Working as a research assistant, I have developed skills to work independently.
  41. My research experience along with electrical engineering background has
  42. equipped me with strong analytical skills and ability to understand the
  43. problems thoroughly. I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic person. 
  44. I have an excellent academic record of 4.0 GPA and 3 research publications.
  45. I have been awarded outstanding research award by the University of Oklahoma.
