- I am seeking a challenging position in VLSI CAD area.
-
- I have recently completed my M.S. degree in Computer Science from
- Western Michigan University. In the course of my M.S. degree program,
- I have had more than two years of research experience in VLSI
- Design Automation. My research is focused on the place and route in
- physical design automation. Special emphasis is laid on developing
- high-performance graph-theoretic algorithms for VLSI placement and
- multilayer routing. My research also include the area of Graph Theory
- and Combinatorial Optimization. I have eight publications in the
- areas of VLSI Design Automation, Graph Theory, and Combinatorial
- Optimization including one in the IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design
- and two in the prestigeous conference, IEEE International Conference on
- Computer-Aided Design. In all my research projects, I have written extensive
- code in C programming language. I also have considerable experience in C++,
- Fortran, Pascal, Prolog, LISP, COBOL, SQL, and QUEL languages.
-
- I have been working as a teaching assistant in the Department of
- Computer Science at Western Michigan University for last one year and have
- received excellent teaching evaluations from students. I posses excellent
- communication skills and my abilities to express my views clearly and
- interact efficiently with people have been the main reasons for my success
- as a reseacher and also as a teacher. I am a fast learner and I believe that
- I could make a significant contribution towards your organization with the
- skills I have acquired. My success in the research proves that I have the
- necessary skills for working both independantly and in a team. Given the
- opportunity, I would be pleased to interview with you and discuss further my
- qualifications.
-
- I am available any time from now and am open to relocate anywhere in the
- U.S. I am enclosing a copy of my resume below and look forward to hearing
- from you.
-
- Thank you.
