- Dear Prospective Employer,
-
- I am currently pursuing my M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering at
- the Michigan State University and will be graduating in May '93. I am
- seeking a career in Computer Engineering that will utilize my
- programming and design skills.
-
- I have a keen interest in computer engineering with an emphasis in
- digital circuit design. I have worked on several projects involving
- digital design and I am currently working on implementing digital
- circuits using field programmable gate arrays (Xilinx). This project
- has enabled me to get acquainted with some very versatile CAD tools
- such as OrCad, Mentor Graphics and CUPL and in the process I have
- become familiar with simulation techniques and timing analysis
- methods. I have taken courses in integrated circuit design and
- fabrication and have had experience working with fabrication and VLSI
- design tools like SUPREM3 and MAGIC. My studies in electrical
- engineering have provided me with a sound knowledge of microprocessor
- hardware and I have developed excellent programming skills. These
- skills have been used in the hardware and software design of a PC
- based Data Acquisition System and a Protocol Interface using a
- microcontroller. I have an in-depth knowledge of assembler languages
- for various microprocessors and this has been a definite advantage for
- the successful completion of my projects.
-
- I posses excellent communication skills and my abilities to express my
- views clearly and interact efficiently with people have been the main
- reasons for my success as a lecturer at the University of Bombay. I am
- a fast learner and I believe that I could make a significant
- contribution towards your organization with the skills I have
- acquired. I have appended my resume. Given the opportunity, I would be
- pleased to interview with you and discuss further my qualifications.
-
- Sincerely,
-
- Mahesh khilnany
