- Prospective Employer:
-
- I am seeking a challenging position in software development in
- engineering design and manufacturing applications (CAE/CAD/CAM).
- I am particularly interested in engineering information systems,
- computer graphics, geometric modeling, finite element analysis,
- structural dynamics, numerical modeling, simulation, numerical
- optimization and other advanced computing techniques.
-
- I am currently a candidate for Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at
- the University of Florida and immediately available for
- employment. My Ph.D. research is focused in the area of design
- for optimum life-cycle cost. Life-cycle cost includes the
- design, reliability, quality, manufacturing, operation and
- maintenance costs. Special emphasis is laid on developing the
- techniques for evaluating the sensitivities of design constraints
- and then performing cost/benefit analysis in order to select the
- best alternatives in design-manufacturing-operation cycle. In
- this research, extensive code has been written in C++ for
- numerical modeling and optimization (nonlinear and dynamic
- programming).
-
- My qualifications include a Master's degree in Mechanical
- Engineering with concentration in computer graphics and
- manufacturing automation. As a researcher for last 6 years, I
- have developed many complex and user-friendly engineering,
- business and database applications on DOS and UNIX systems for
- the University of Florida and other organizations. I also have
- considerable experience in C, C++, Fortran, Pascal, dBase and SQL
- languages.
