- background in Networking in TCP/IP, DECNET and also in Macintosh AppleTalk

- read write modules for an NFS client on MSDOS using SUN RPCs
- and WATTCP.
- * Developed a BOOTP client utility using Crwynr Packet Driver
- APIs to query the bootp server and get the TCP information
- about the network.
- * Developed a command line 'read_remote' utility using the
- ftp and telnet protocols which queries the ftp server at
- the remote site and transfers an ascii/binary file. The
- program is built over BSD socket calls.
- * Developed a command line 'time_remote' utility using the
- BSD socket calls to determine the time at a remote site.
- The program was written with both TCP and UDP protocols.
- * As Masters degree dissertation project in India designed and
- developed Schematic Editor with Online Verification for
- designing LSI/VLSI systems.
- * Designed and developed a Universal Cross Assembler.
- * Designed and developed a Lexical Analyzer and Parser for the
- Programming language PASCAL using the compiler development
- tools LEX and YACC.

- * Designed and developed a Network Faxserver in the Novell
- Network environment which consists of a server memory resident
- in one of the nodes and client user interface in all other
- nodes.
- * Designed and developed software for a PC fax card for
- transmission and reception of faxes with advanced features like
- application capture, facilities for viewing and printing
- received faxes etc.
- * Designed and implemented firmware for a V22 modem. Worked on
- development of intelligent (Hayes AT command set compatible)
- full duplex 1200/300 BPS voice band modems conforming to CCITT
- V22/V21 specifications (with advanced features like auto
- answering, call progress monitoring and auto baud detection
- schemes).
- * Implemented MNP classes 1-4 for a V22 bis modem and
- impemented the firmware in 8K.
