- * Multiplexed pipelining: A cost effective loop transformation
- Technique (Master's Thesis ) : We have tried to develop a new loop
- transformation technique which uses limited number of processors
- for its operation. This transformation method uses pipelining for
- mapping its fine grain partitions to a multiprocessor bed. The
- newly developed transformation method was implemented and tested
- on a unix local area network.
-
- * Parallel processing in distributed systems: Developed a parallel
- processing dataflow simulator in Unix environment. The simulator
- is a general mapping and evaluation system developed to deal with
- complexity, diversity and inaccuracy in mapping programs to
- architectures. The simulator has been implemented on a network of
- SUN workstations and the parent and child processes communicate
- using sockets (BSD) over TCP/IP.
-
- * Developed Data link communication protocol using selective repeat
- strategy in "C" on unix local area network. The data in the files
- was split into the frames and frames were transferred between two
- machines taking into consideration the error detection.
-
- * Developed X toolkit based user interface with popup menu and
- scrollbar using athena widgets and X library functions.
-
- * Developed uniprocessor batch operating system in "C" with
- paged and segmented memory management system using a round robin
- scheduler.
-
- * Developed cache memory simulator in "C" using WTWA and WTWNA
- memory management policies.
-
- * Developed sequential scheduling algorithm in "C" for uniprocessor
- applications.
