  23. Our client company wants the best AS400 Technical Programmer available and they
  24. want them now.  The individual will be involved in the development of
  25. Communications S/W for computer to computer, computer to FAX, E-mail, satellite
  26. based transmissions, multi node connectivity, voice response, voice passage
  27. communications, user to user communications across multiple platforms.

  29. Previous products have primarily addressed IBM mid range computers (AS400/S38),
  30. however new generations will include VAX, H.P., UNIX, PC VS/2 and the whole
  31. gamut.  The company is ten years old and has about 35 employees but is entering
  32. an existing rapid growth phase.  The candidate must have intimate knowledge of
  33. AS400/S38 (ten years experience) and must have a strong understanding of data
  34. communications and interconnectivity.  Should have worked in Development/Lab
  35. environment.  Must have RPG III or RPG 400.

  37. Note: We will look at exceptional candidates who want more.  The degree is not
  38.       mandatory for Canadian candidates, but it will be very helpful for U.S.A.
  39.       candidates in order to bring them in under Free Trade.
