  24.         SENIOR TECHNICAL WRITER

  26. We have an opening for a Senior Technical Writer to work closely with
  27. developers as they create state-of-the-art database application tools.
  28. As a member of the development team, this writer will be involved in
  29. all phases of projects: write and maintain functional specifications,
  30. prepare and implement documentation plans, and complete related     
  31. documentation assignments as specified by the Documentation Manager.

  33. The successful candidate must have experience with some combination
  34. of the following:
  35.     --RDBMS, SQL, 4GL (Informix a plus)
  36.     --GUI's (MS Windows, OSF/Motif)
  37.     --Object oriented programming languages
  38.     --One or more high level languages (prefer C)
  39.     --3-5 years experience documenting application development
  40.     software products (audience is sophisticated application
  41.     developers and Fortune-1000 MIS shops).
  42.     
  43. C++ is not required but is very helpful.
