  16. Maptronix, Inc., a leading vendor of real time mapping solutions,
  17. is seeking experienced and ambitious software developers with
  18. experience in:
  19.  
  20.      SYBASE - design and development of applications, schemas,
  21.      administration, and performance tuning.  Applications
  22.      development and system design experience is critical.
  23.  
  24.      JAM - significant experience developing JAM applications
  25.      utilizing JAM/DBI and JAM/PI in a Unix environment.
  26.  
  27.      GRAPHICS - Low level X Window 2 and 3-D graphics, CAD
  28.      systems, CAD formats, hard copy rendering, Motif/Open Look.
  29.  
  30.      CAD/GIS - Experience developing CAD/GIS/mapping software.
  31.  
  32.      PUBLIC SAFETY - Experience in public safety dispatching,
  33.      communications, or crime analysis.
  34.  
  35.      UTILITIES - Experience in power outage management, facilities
  36.      management, or AM/FM applications in the public utility sector.
  37.  
  38. If you have experience in at least two of the above categories,
  39. as well as:
  40.  
  41.      * Bachelor's Degree (CS is helpful, but not required).
  42.      * US Citizen
  43.      * Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  44.      * Four years of professional software development experience
  45.      using C or C++.
  46.      * Significant experience with Unix workstations.
  47.      * Proven track record of developing complex systems and
  48.      working on a small team or as a solo developer.
  49.      * Willingness to move to the Research Triangle Park area of
  50.      North Carolina.
