  18. After a few fights with customers (and their accounting department) about
  19. travel time charges we have adopted a simple scheme that seems to work for
  20. us and keeps them happy.  We charge for one way travel at our standard
  21. consulting rate.  It just gets billed as consulting time.  Thus,
  22. accounting is happy and the actual customer feels like they got a deal.
