  37. Job Description: You will enhance and "productize" a database application
  38. that is    in a prototype stage at    present.  This application is essentially
  39. a call tracking    database.  The database    package    is NOT one of the standard
  40. UNIX DBMS'.  The user interface    is Motif based.     You will be programming in
  41. a description language (similar    to a 4GL).
  42.  
  43. Additionally, you will have ultimate responsibility for    installing it on
  44. the main server    and on all users workstations, so that an excellent UNIX
  45. knowledge is necessary.

  47. Once the application is    "up and    running", you will be supporting it on an
  48. on-call    basis.

  50. Candidate Qualifications:
  51.  
  52.     - Database Applications    Programmer with    a proven track record
  53.       of completing    a variety of projects.
  54.  
  55.     - Strong analytical skills
  56.  
  57.     - Excellent UNIX skills    (C programming,    shell programming, utilties,
  58.       admin    commands, etc).

  60.     - Comfortable working with non-technical end-users.
