  19. TIVOLI Systems, a start-up company in Austin, TX, has quickly become the
  20. leading supplier of distributed system management products for
  21. heterogeneous UNIX environments.

  23. TIVOLI has licensed its distributed system management technology to the
  24. OSF, USL, and SunSoft.  TIVOLI also sells its products directly to
  25. end-user customers with large, heterogeneous UNIX networks.  TIVOLI
  26. customers include major oil companies, investment firms,
  27. telecommunications companies and semiconductor firms.  TIVOLI is located
  28. in the scenic hill country west of Austin, overlooking Lake Austin.  We
  29. have about 60 employees.

  31. TIVOLI is seeking 2 outstanding software engineers for Software Test
  32. Development.  The successful candidates will participate in the
  33. porting, enhancement and release of automated software test packages
  34. to be used in verifying TIVOLI's products.  Due to the distributed nature
  35. of the TIVOLI product this is an extremely challenging effort and will
  36. require innovative solutions.

  38. The candidate will be expected to excel at designing, coding, and
  39. releasing automated software test packages.  Software test developers at
  40. TIVOLI are involved in all phases of one or more software product
  41. life-cycle(s).  This requires working closely with the product developers
  42. and technical writers in TIVOLI's team atmosphere.

  44. Mandatory Requirements:
  45.  
  46.   o  3 to 5 years experience in Software Engineering/Software Test Development.
  47.  
  48.   o  2 to 3 years experience with UNIX and C.
  49.  
  50.   o  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline required. 
  51.  
  52.   o  US citizenship or permanent residency required.
  53.  
  54. Desired Background:
  55.  
  56.   o  Master's degree in Computer Science.
  57.  
  58.   o  Experience developing automated test suites.
  59.  
  60.   o  Experience with UNIX System Administration, Object-oriented
  61.      programming, and the X Window System.
  62.  
  63.   o  Experience with Perl or other scripting languages.
  64.  
  65.   o  Experience developing testing tools a plus.
