- The onus of proof must rest on those making an assertion, not on those
- who question the assertion. It would cost you many hundreds of
- thousands of dollars to disprove that swallowing sugar and then
- farting exactly five times cures aids. So, it is a cheap shot to
- offer someone $10 000 rewards for disproof of something. I'm not an
- MD, but I can hardly fault MDs for insisting on good evidence before
- they risk someone's health!
