- The US Dept. of Tramsportation (DOT) appears to be proposing rules
- which would deny the use of bus/van lifts to many disABLED persons
- under the guise of "safety". I don't have a scanner available
- and I'm not going to type in four pages of info, but the gist of it
- seems to be that only WHEELCHAIRS are to be allowed on these lifts.
- No walkers, no scooters, no ambulatory mobility impaired, nothing.
