  15. The US Dept. of Tramsportation (DOT) appears to be proposing rules
  16. which would deny the use of bus/van lifts to many disABLED persons
  17. under the guise of "safety". I don't have a scanner available
  18. and I'm not going to type in four pages of info, but the gist of it
  19. seems to be that only WHEELCHAIRS are to be allowed on these lifts.
  20. No walkers, no scooters, no ambulatory mobility impaired, nothing.
