- Getting down to 4% body fat can be very unhealthy. It is important to
- realize that the kidneys are surronded by fat for protection. Eliminating
- this fat effectively reduces protection of the kidneys. At 4% body fat
- I seriously doubt the fat protecting the kidneys is not affected. Marvin
- Haglar, a remarkable athlete and tremendous boxer, was never less than
- 8% body fat. If you want to see the perfect example of muscle tone and
- low body fat, look at this individual. I think many would agree, based on
- this individual's example, that dropping below 8% is probably overkill.
