- Okay Amitabh, you have got my dander up!
- The bottom line is that _diet_ is the single most effective tool
- at one's disposal when it comes to trimming one's waist, well,
- diet and roadwork, and EK was already doing plenty of roadwork.
- You can do sit-ups, crunches, leg raises, and any other ab work
- that you can think of until you are blue-in-the-face, and still
- undermine your best efforts by not eating properly.
- Secondly, it is quite possible to have heavily developed abs and
- _still_ have a very small waist. Ab work does not thicken your
- midsection.... poor eating habits do! If you have handlebars,
- a spare tire, or a gut, and you want to get your waistline down,
- then you have to lose some bodyfat, plain and simple! There is
- simply no way around this, and ab work is _not_ gonna' do it!
-
- Next time, think before you post!
