My apologies if this topic has been discussed into the ground, but I need
some first time buyer guidance on stair climbers.  My budget is around $500
and my primary concerns are a good and safe workout as well as durability.
Special effects (fancy readouts) are secondary however I can appreciate their
entertainment value.  If there's a FAQ on this I'd appreciate any info on
how I can get a hold of it.  If not, any informed opinions/experiences would
be of great help.  I'm shopping around, trying to get informed, but Xmas is
quickly approaching and I'm running out of time.  Mailed responses welcomed.
