  11. Hi, I'm really glad to have a moderator here; for awhile it

  13. looked as though this echo might die from disinterest.  I think that 
  14. would be a real loss.  I teach Russian in high school in Tacoma, WA. 
  15. having studied 30+ years ago  at what was then called the Army Language 
  16. School.  A couple of my advanced students are looking for penpals here. 
  17. We are not certain whether this is the right place for students; it 
  18. seems to be populated by teachers, high school students and everyone 
  19. else with an interest in Russian and/or Russia.  Is there any chance
  20.  
  21. that we can all agree on a Russian word processor and write in Russian 
  22. either by messages here or file transfers?  Could we transfer files in 
  23. Russian with a warning that they contain high ASCII characters and a 
  24. warning that anyone with any doubt about how those characters will 
  25. affect his computer should not download them?

  27. Please let me know if you think this is possible on K12 Net.
