- Hi, I'm really glad to have a moderator here; for awhile it
-
- looked as though this echo might die from disinterest. I think that
- would be a real loss. I teach Russian in high school in Tacoma, WA.
- having studied 30+ years ago at what was then called the Army Language
- School. A couple of my advanced students are looking for penpals here.
- We are not certain whether this is the right place for students; it
- seems to be populated by teachers, high school students and everyone
- else with an interest in Russian and/or Russia. Is there any chance
-
- that we can all agree on a Russian word processor and write in Russian
- either by messages here or file transfers? Could we transfer files in
- Russian with a warning that they contain high ASCII characters and a
- warning that anyone with any doubt about how those characters will
- affect his computer should not download them?
-
- Please let me know if you think this is possible on K12 Net.
-
- Al
