  22. I've heard of the Tuba Christmas thingy. I just wish there was something
  23. like that in existence for us slushpump types.

  25. Almost every year, my teacher, Tom Ervin (at the University of Arizona,
  26. Tucson) has his "precollegiate trombone workshop." And what's neat is to
  27. see a couple hundred trombone players-- high school age and below! (with
  28. some baritones and some tubas too) all playing together. Some of the
  29. kids are so small that if you stand the horn on end, it's taller than
  30. they are.

  32. Didn't get a chance to do it this year, but some year I'd like to get
  33. some folks together and take my horn and go caroling.
